Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)
National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program participants are eligible for the Affordable Connectivity Program, a discounted broadband program. This benefit program helps ensure eligible households can afford internet service for work, school, healthcare, and more. Summer Credit Recovery Courses
The following high school courses are being offered to current TMHS, JDHS, and YDHS students for credit recovery:
- World History
- Pre-algebra
- Algebra
- English
- Fitness Concepts
Live courses will be at Thunder Mountain High/Middle School from 8:00 am - noon, June 3-21, Monday - Friday with no school on Wednesday, June 19th (Juneteenth holiday). Bussing is available
High school students can also take summer PLATO courses. Students will have access to the PLATO Labs at both TMHS and JDHS for limited hours in June. All students enrolled in summer school can check out a Chromebook for the duration of summer school.

Time to update your child’s immunizations?
Spring Break - March 18-22 - is a great time to check with your provider about your children's immunization status and update them as needed.
The Alaska Department of Health issued a warning about measles on March 3, 2024. Measles alert
Recent measles outbreaks in Florida and other states are a reminder that the measles virus is still circulating, and is very contagious. Measles can be dangerous, especially for babies and young children, and is preventable.
