Welcome to the Juneau School District's Teaching and Learning Department! Teaching and Learning is the heart of education and at the center of what happens in our schools each day. Our mission is to support teachers and administrators in their roles to maximize student achievement. We are working to realize the vision of each one, every one of our students graduating prepared to succeed beyond high school. We provide leadership in the design, development, and selection of curriculum, instructional materials, coordinate and deliver professional learning for new and experienced educators, and direct the state and district assessments programs.
