In an effort to promote a safe and drug-free environment in our high schools, the Juneau School District offers a voluntary random drug-testing program. This program is open to all high school students, is completely voluntary and the results are confidential. It is designed to give students a tool to resist using alcohol, tobacco and other drugs and/or show their support for a drug-free lifestyle. Students enrolling in the program are rewarded with incentives including discounts from local businesses, prepaid VISA cards, and other valuable prizes.
