Alaska Pacific University
		I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching at APU after completing a two year program in 1987-1989. APU, located in Anchorage, is the reincarnation of Alaska Methodist University.
	Majoring in Elementary Education, I completed my student teaching in a sixth grade classroom at Susitna Elementary School in Anchorage. I worked at a TA for the Computer Science for Teachers course at APU and as a clerk at British Petroleum while studying full-time.

		Most of my classes were in Grant Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus.
