NEW IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL CHILDREN IN GRADES K-6
Varicella (chickenpox) all children are now required to have 2 doses OR History of disease recorded on new state required form OR Valid medical exemption on new state required form.In the past the requirement was for only one dose.  If you have questions regarding your child's immunization you should contact your physician, local  school nurse after August 17, or visit the the State of Alaska Immunization Program website.

Back to school immunizations are available free of charge at the Juneau Public Health Center, 3412 Glacier Highway (across from the Twin Lakes parking lot). Call 456-3353 for an appointment. Please bring your child's immunization records to the appointement.
