Do You Have A Kindergarten Age Child?
Here are some things to remember . . .

  • Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by September 1.
  • If you miss the spring registration, registration for all elementary schools begins again at schools on August 7, 2014.
  • Please bring records of your child’s immunization records and birth certificate. A physical examination by your physician will be necessary.
  • Be sure to meet the school office staff. They can answer many of your questions.
  • Check at the office for bus information, routes, and times. For half-day Kindergarten, bus service is provided to school only. Parents must arrange transportation AFTER half-day Kindergarten classes end.
  • There is an adjusted Kindergarten schedule in all schools during the first week of school. During this time teachers complete state required student and parent interviews and orientation to the student’s new classroom. Check with your school office at registration for details.
  • The first day of school for Kindergarten is Monday, August 25, 2014.
