Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to Kindergarten! The Juneau School District has an exciting kindergarten program planned for your child. Educators, early childhood experts, and parents are working together to insure that our program matches the needs of your five year old. This handbook will outline our program and answer most of your questions about starting school. Children must be five years old by September 1, 2010 to attend kindergarten. Please contact the principal or teacher at your child’s school to get specific help with your concerns. New Student Registration - August 12, 2010 - Noon to 5:00 pm at neighborhood schools!

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
Students new to the district, Kindergarten age, or home or private school students can register to attend their neighborhood school on August 12 from noon - 5:00 pm. Please bring a birth certificate, immunization records and school records.
