News
The JDHS Chapter of Alaska Youth for Environmental Action has implemented a no-idling zone at JDHS. This means drivers are not allowed to leave their vehicles running while remaining stationary. When dropping your child off by the front door, please move quickly, or turn your engine off. The idle-free zones will be identified with signs on the street and pick up/drop off zones, including the street parking in front of the high school. We need your commitment to minimizing the car exhaust released into the atmosphere of our school, and appreciate your cooperation, Thanks!
