Andrea Stasyszen
|
Andrea Stasyszen is a long time Juneau resident, first arriving in
1989. She graduated from Family of Faith College, Shawnee OK in 2000
with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education as a mathematics major.
Andrea then taught one year of high school mathematics in Oklahoma.
She has worked for the State of Alaska Department of Education and
Early Development and for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast
Alaska.
Ready to return to classroom teaching, Andrea graduated from
the University of Alaska Southeast with her Master in the Arts of
Teaching in 2009. |

Tom Thompson
|
Tom Thompson was born and raised in Petersburg, Alaska. He has lived in Alaska is entire life.
After
Tom graduated from Petersburg High School he attended
Willamette University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. Tom then attended Northern Arizona University where he also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Science. Next, Tom attened the
University of Alaska Southeast and obtained his Masters of Arts in Teaching. His latest degree is a Masters of Mathematics from Montana State University!
Tom taught at
DHMS here in Juneau for two school years before he came to teach at JDHS in 2002. Tom teaches
Algebra 1, Algebra 2/Trig, Geometry, and AP Statistics classes.
