Craig Mapes was recognized with the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development - 2010 Commissioner's Award at the Alaska Apprenticeship Conference on Wed April 28 in Anchorage. Juneau-Douglas High School teacher Craig Mapes has received the Alaska Construction Academies Instructor Excellence Award for his work in the Architecture, Construction and Engineering program. The award was announced Thursday during the Alaska State Home Building Association Convention awards banquet in Juneau.
