A "No Holds Bard" theatre season continues at TMHS

Thunder Mountain HS continues its 2011-2012 theatre season with Much Ado About Will

Have you ever uttered the words: “Into thin air”; “Fair play”; “Greek to me”; “Kill with kindness”; “Good riddance”; “What the dickens”;  “Fair play”; “Foregone conclusion”; “One Fell Swoop”; or “Dead as a doornail”?  If so, you have been in a “No Holds Bard” word brawl by quoting William Shakespeare.

Much Ado About Will (or Shakespeare for Dummies) is a delightfully entertaining celebration of the words of Shakespeare in the midst of demonstrating the incredible versatility of the greatest playwright of the English language. During this ensemble show, the company presents an alluring display of comedy and tragedy with some of Shakespeare's most famous characters on a brilliant journey through mistaken identity, murder, love and war. The production is a great way to introduce anyone to the marvelous world of William Shakespeare and is a full-course meal for Shakespearean veterans.

The ensemble cast is Alyssa McCracken, Andrew Raney, Ani Williams, Averi Cokeley, Carmen Smith, Ileta Galau, Jasmine Blackwell, Kristen Dutson, Maddie Temple, Marisa Guizio, Mercy Marceliano, Mikayla Stiner, Miranda Guizio, Rhyan Ashcroft, Ryan Hicks, Savana Carroll, Veronica Buness, Virginia Roldan, and Yazan Jabar. The technical crew is Brianna Helton, Erin Krogstad, Gabby Lindley, Isaac Christensen, Nika Thompson, Tesla Cooper, Sorcha Hazelton, and Stephen Ringle. Much Ado About Will by Robert Johanson is directed by Kristen Garot and produced by special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, IL. The Juneau Arts Community, TMHS parents, teachers, and staff continue to support TMHS theatre students in presenting appealing theatrical experiences for Juneau.
