Upcoming SBA and HSGQE Assessment: April 2010 NEW

Juneau schools will be participating in the state mandated Standards Based Assessment (SBA) and High School Graduation Qualifying Exam (HSGQE).

April 6: grades 9 and 10 SBA/HSGQE Reading; HSGQE retest Reading
April 7: grades 9 and 10 SBA/HSGQE Writing; HSGQE retest Writing; grades 4 and 8 SBA Science
April 8: grades 9 and 10 SBA/HSGQE Mathematics; HSGQE retest Mathematics
April 9: grade 10 SBA Science

April 13: grades 3 through 8 SBA Reading
April 14: grades 3 through 8 SBA Writing
April 15: grades 3 through 8 SBA Mathematics

High School Graduation Qualifying Exam Adult Retest NEW
The adult retest is for individuals who have a Certificate of Achievement from an Alaska high school and intend to take any section(s) of the HSGQE to earn a diploma.

The Juneau HSGQE adult retest registration deadline is
March 23, 2010.

A completed registration form AND proof of a Certificate of Achievement must be received by a JSD high school registrar no later than March 23.
-   The registration form is available to download or at all Juneau high schools.

-   Drivers license or State issued i.d. card must be shown on the test day(s).
